MARAS – LAGUNA DE HUAYPO ATV TOUR
Tour Start
We start with pickup from your hotel and travel by tourist transport to the village of Cruzpata, about 50 minutes from Cusco. Here we will do a riding practice of about 15 minutes to get familiar with the ATVs.
ATV Route to Laguna de Huaypo
We will start our adventure riding the ATVs towards the beautiful Laguna de Huaypo. This option is ideal for travellers who prefer not to buy the Moray entrance ticket. The natural setting around the lagoon offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for unforgettable photos.
On to the Salt Mines
Then we will head to the famous Maras Salt Mines. The route is partly by ATV up to the permitted point, where our transport will be waiting to continue the journey for safety. On this leg we will enjoy privileged views of Verónica and Chicón snow-capped peaks, set in a landscape of mountains, agriculture and living nature.
Connection with Nature
Throughout the journey we will have the chance to see the daily life of local people, Andean animal herds and vast agricultural fields, for an authentic experience close to the rural culture of the Sacred Valley.
Return to Cusco
At the end of the adventure we will return by transport to the city of Cusco. The tour ends on traditional Plateros street, a few steps from the Plaza de Armas.
