BIKING TOUR MARAS MORAY SALT MINES
Tour Start
We start the adventure with pickup from your hotel at the agreed time. We will set off towards the community of Cruzpata, the starting point of the circuit and known for its ideal routes for outdoor activities.
Laguna de Huaypo Viewpoint
We will start the bike route towards a beautiful natural viewpoint, from where we can see Laguna de Huaypo and the snow-capped peaks of the Sacred Valley. A perfect spot for photos and a panoramic break.
Route to Maras
We will continue pedalling along natural trails towards the picturesque district of Maras, enjoying Andean landscapes, agricultural fields and the tranquillity of the area.
Visit to Moray
Our next stop will be the enigmatic Moray archaeological complex. Its circular terraces worked as an Inca agricultural laboratory, where microclimates and crops were experimented with. Here we will enjoy a guided explanation and our box lunch.
Route to Maras Salt Mines
We will continue the route to the impressive Maras Salt Mines, a complex of more than 3,000 salt pools still in operation. The view of the white terraces contrasts with the Andean landscape, creating a unique and photogenic setting.
Return to Cusco
At the end of the biking experience we will board our private transport to return to the city of Cusco. The tour ends in the historic center.
